ComMISSION A PET PORTRAIT

My pet portraits are drawn using the highest quality materials to ensure your drawing will last a lifetime or longer with proper care. I specifically use Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran D’ache Luminace and Pablos, and Derwent Lightfast and Drawing pencils, and quality Drafting Film, Pastelmat, or acid free hot pressed paper. All of these are made to keep your drawing the same color for decades to come.

Below is a price list based on size and number of subjects. If there is a specific size not listed, I’m happy to work with you to get the perfect size for your commission.

Prices are based on 1 subject and paper size. I will fill the paper as much as possible with your pet portrait, leaving space for mounting. If you want more than one pet, the price will be 75% more for the size you are wanting. Ex: a standard colored pencil double portrait will be $500 + $375 for the second pet totaling $875.

Portraits will be mounted before shipping so they are ready to be framed when received, and will be shipped with the utmost care.

Step One

Decide on the size portrait you would like, being mindful of where it will be displayed. Do you want a statement piece for your wall, or will it be displayed on a side table or desk?

Step Two

Provide your reference photo(s). The clearer the photo, the more detail I can get into your portrait, but I know sometimes old blurry photos are all you have. I am able to enhance photos and work from multiple when needed so no matter what you have, we will make it work!

Step Three

Book your portrait. If you have a deadline -a birthday or Christmas, etc.- please make that clear and I will do my best to work in that timeframe. At this time I will require a 50% deposit to secure your spot.

Step Four

When it comes time to start your portrait, I will get back in touch to confirm all the details and at this time will require the remaining 50% before I start. If requested, I will send you progress photos but if this is a surprise gift (or you just want to be surprised!) let me know ahead of time. I will refrain from using photos and videos on my social media until it has been received. Otherwise, you can follow along on my Instagram to see the drawing come to life on paper!

Step Five

Once your portrait is complete, I will send photos for final approval and if there are any changes needed let me know! I want you to be 100% satisfied, and once you are I will mount and ship it off to you via UPS with tracking. Shipping will be an additional flat rate of $10 in the USA and $15 internationally. Once your portrait is received, I’d love to see where you decide to display it! I can’t wait to work with you!

Fill out the form below so we can get your commission scheduled! Please specify if you’d like a graphite or colored pencil portrait, what size and how many animals there will be. If you know which picture or pictures you’d like me to work from please attach those as well and be sure to include if there is any deadline I will need to meet. Once I receive the form I will reach out and get you scheduled.

I can’t wait to work with you!
